Pip Value Derivation Formula
A pip is the fourth decimal place (0.0001) for most currencies, and the second decimal place (0.01) for JPY pairs. The monetary value of 1 pip depends on the trade volume and whether your account currency is the base or quote currency.
Pip_Value = (1 Pip / Exchange_Rate) * Lot_Units [For Base Currency Quotes] Pip_Value = 1 Pip * Lot_Units [For USD Quote Pairs e.g. EUR/USD]Trader Risk Best Practices
